Learn from Director of The Charleston Climate Coalition and talented Improv Comedian Belvin Olasov ways to use joy, humor, and creativity in activism! Belvin is a student of the effectiveness in the ridiculous to create lasting change in the systems we are faced with while protecting our mental health by engaging with the most human parts of us: humor and creativity.
It is more important than ever to remember when we are angry and scared we are controllable but when we can laugh and experience joy and creativity we are our highest self! This is a powerful tool in our arsenal to make lasting change at a time when we may be feeling overwhelmed and powerless. Let's not just talk about feeling better while avoiding our real challenges, lets embrace our reality and respond intentionally.
